Phase 3: Post-Launch (Live Site Mode)

Confirm Live URL: Check the browser address bar to ensure you are on the actual live domain.
Security Icon Check: Look next to the website name in the address bar.
- Note for Google Chrome: The traditional padlock has been replaced by a tune/slider icon (looks like two horizontal sliders). Click this icon and confirm that the dropdown menu explicitly states "Connection is secure". This ensures the site is safe and strictly uses https://.
Custom 404 Page: Type a fake, random URL after your domain name. Ensure it opens a clean, well-designed "Page Not Found" screen instead of a generic browser error. It must contain a link back to the home page so the user isn't stuck.
No Leftover Work Links: Click through all pages on the live site. Verify that clicking buttons does not accidentally send you back to the old, unreleased test version of the site.

Privacy & Terms: Ensure links to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are present in the footer and functional on the live domain.
Copyright Year: Check the footer to ensure the copyright year is current.

Inbox Test: Submit a real form inquiry. Confirm it lands in the actual business inbox, not spam.
Email Formatting: Open the confirmation email on mobile and desktop. Confirm the layout looks clean.
